Well, may be not the best books ever but at least I got your attention. These are the sales books I actually finished reading and for good reason because they rock! “Believe me” you won’t be disappointed.

  1. Selling the Wheel by Jeff Cox, Howard Stevens
By far the most enjoyable sales book I have ever read. Great read to help figure out what “type” of sales person is needed based on the state of your business and market. Are you the Captain & Crew, the Closer, the Relationship Builder or the Wizard?
  1. Little Red Book of Selling by Jeffrey Gitomer
Short and to the point because sales people hate to read. Sales advice from Gitomer is fun and straight forward but be forewarned this is not for people that “suck at sales”. Keep it on your desk for daily consumption.
  1. The Challenger Sale by Matthew Dixon, Brent Adamson
The best sales book for those selling enterprise or complex solutions. Relationships are for losers! Don’t sell to your customers, challenge them! Many enterprise orgs have implemented the Challenge sales methodology based on this book so why not you?
  1. Predictable Revenue by Aaron Ross, Marylou Tyler
It has been called the Silicon Valley bible. A great practical guide on how to drive warm inbound leads to increase the closing probability. But remember the good leads are for closers!

Happy reading! Let me know what you think.
